The Czech Republic offers some of Central Europe's most established English-taught medical programs, led by Charles University — one of the oldest universities in Europe — alongside Masaryk, Palacký, and Ostrava. Degrees are EU-recognized and the universities are listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.

Czech medical faculties admit through an entrance exam (typically biology, chemistry, and physics), sometimes with an interview, plus English proof and legalized documents. There is no MCAT. Each faculty publishes its own syllabus and dates — confirm on the official page and track them on the deadline board.

Plan the licensing route from the start. Czech medical universities are listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools. For the U.S. route the school must be listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools with an applicable ECFMG Sponsor Note covering your graduation year, then you complete ECFMG certification and the USMLE; for Canada, the MCC route (MCCQE Part I and the NAC Examination) and your provincial regulator.
