What this university is, in practice

Lincoln has the lowest all-in cost of the five pharmacy schools profiled today, about €126,200. Its record also carries something worth reading in its own right: a documented correction. An earlier reference put the fee at £17,900; a second pass found the official 2026/27 fees table listing £18,300 per level, and the higher figure is what this page uses.

A fee that was checked twice

The confirmed 2026-2027 fee is £18,300 per level or year for international full-time students under the university's Undergraduate Fees Group B, verified on 2026-07-05. Our record notes explicitly that this is a second-pass correction: the official Course Fees Group B table lists £18,300, not the older £17,900 reference that had been carried previously.

That difference is £400 a year — about €462, or €1,848 across the four-year degree. Small in absolute terms, and worth surfacing anyway, because it is the mechanism by which a stale figure becomes a wrong budget. The prior-year note was a real official figure; it had simply been superseded.

It is also why this site distinguishes reference amounts from confirmed ones throughout. Bangor, profiled on day 14, is the case where that distinction has not yet resolved — its £21,000 is still a prior-cycle fallback. Lincoln is the case where it did.

The billing basis is worth noting too: £18,300 is quoted per level rather than per calendar year. For a student progressing normally the two coincide, but a repeated or extended year is charged by level, not by time.

Cheapest of today's five

£18,300 converts to about €21,160 at the ECB reference rate this site uses for planning — 1 EUR = GBP 0.86483, taken on 2026-06-15. Four years is roughly €84,600 in tuition.

Lincoln's living costs run about €10,400 a year on this site's presets, so four years adds €41,600 and the all-in figure is about €126,240 — the lowest of the five schools profiled today and the fourth lowest of the nineteen single-programme UK MPharm pages on this site.

Lincoln, Wolverhampton, Middlesbrough and Sunderland all carry exactly the same €10,400 living-cost preset, which makes these four the purest fee comparison in the whole UK pharmacy block: identical city cost, fees spanning €1,966, and all-in totals spanning €7,864. Nothing else separates them on cost.

Interview, and an English floor

Selection is a UCAS application against published entry requirements plus successful performance at an interview. The requirement is an international qualification equivalent to Lincoln's published chemistry and science offer, an English requirement, and professional-suitability, health and background checks.

The latest official reference indicates IELTS 6.5 with no component below 6.0, and our record advises verifying that against the 2026 course table. Component floors matter more than overall bands in this block — Bangor asks 7.0 with 6.5 in every subskill, Ulster 6.5 with 6.5 in speaking and nothing below 6.0, De Montfort a flat 7.0. Four schools, four different shapes of the same requirement.

The award is a four-year MPharm through Lincoln Medical School and the School of Pharmacy. English is the teaching and placement language. The UCAS pharmacy calendar applies, with an equal-consideration deadline of 14 January 2026 at 18:00 UK time and a final date of 24 September 2026 subject to vacancies — though our record adds the standing caution that high-demand MPharm courses may close earlier and live availability controls.

Who this suits

Applicants who want the lowest all-in cost in this batch, who can meet an English requirement with component floors as well as an overall band, and who are aiming at Canadian rather than US registration.

Return-pathway evidence

This is a pharmacy program, so the World Directory of Medical Schools listing and ECFMG Sponsor Note evidence this site carries for medicine does not apply, and the catalog holds no school-level medical registry record for it. A four-year UK MPharm does not meet the stated post-2003 five-year minimum on duration alone, so this degree does not by itself support the FPGEC route to US registration — confirm your position with the NABP and your intended state board. For Canada, the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada says eligible UK graduates may qualify for the streamlined pathway after Document Evaluation. Verify both directly with the relevant regulator before enrolling; nothing here establishes eligibility for examination, registration, or licensure.
